About PSGIANS

The main purpose of the Association is to provide an organization through which the Alumni of PSG institutes around the world, and faculty, staff and students of the institute can interact with each other for mutual benefit and to further the objectives outlined in the Mission Statement, which are as follows:
  1. Alumni: To facilitate networking among alumni. The idea is not only to get in touch with long lost classmates but also to having meaningful activities within these network of individuals. Towards this we have identified 'Focus Groups'. To begin with the following groups have been identified -
    • Entreprenuership & Career Advancement Group
    • Bridge Group
    • Social Activities Group
  2. Institute: To facilitate and encourage alumni to contribute towards improvement in the status of the institute in areas pertaining to academics, infrastructure, industry interactions and any other area that the alumni and the institute feel appropriate. Some of these areas are -
    • Assist in Research and Technology initiatives
    • Foster Entrepreneurship
    • Branding
  3. Students: Th real value add of an Alumni network is the experience that the alumni can share with current student in the role of mentors. This will help students make educated choices in their career.
